Lions roar back from 24 down.
For the second week in a row, our Detroit Lions struggled to move the chains and protect the middle of the field during the first half. It seemed as though Matt Stafford, as razor-sharp as he has been out of the gate, had some butterflies before the first snap in the isolated starship Jerry Jones built for a billion in his home town. (I'll be waiting for tickets.. Jerry)
The cardiac-cats awoke in the second half after two KEY turnovers by Bobby Carpenter (former Cowboys first-round draft pick) and Chris Houston after what seemed to be a perplexing first half of coverage woes.
Calvin Johnson straight dominated. Triple coverage isn't enough to stop Megatron. Eight touchdowns and four games later, Calvin tops loud-mouth ESPN announcer Cris Carter for the hottest receiving span, touchdown wise, in NFL history.
The second-half wasn't without a few strenuous moments such as a dramatic non-catch by Dez Bryant of the Cowboys and Ndomukong Suh place-kicking a trashcan filled with ex-Gatorade on to Kyle Vanden Bosch.
One would assume Matthew Stafford rode away in a limo with the Dallas Cowboys cheerleaders and Jim Schwartz limp-fished Dez Bryant on the post game handshake, but neither can be confirmed.
